Q: How long have you been tattooing?
3 years
Q: Who trained you?
Max Siapo, Sock Eastlake
Q: What's special about Tattoo Nation?
It's like no other studio you've ever been in or seen. Long gone are the days of the cramped up, dingy, tattoo studio. The place is huge, friendly and the place to get inked up.
Q: What is the best thing about working with Tattoo Nation?
I started when it opened and it was an awesome shop then. Watching the shop grow and evolve and become the best shop in OZ is something special.
Q: What advice can you offer someone wanting a tattoo for the first time?
Tatts look great when they fill the entire muscle group or body part. Don't let fear tempt you into getting a postage stamp, if you want one ; get a real one!!
Q: Your favourite style?
Anything that hasn't been done a thousand times, Challenge us please!!
Q: Who do you respect in the tattoo industry?
The boss... And artists that not only work for decades but that don't lose their passion. Theses are the artists that lift the bar for everyone else.
Q: Where do you see the Australian tattoo scene heading?
Hopefully away from Southern crosses and mindless tribal. I'm hoping Aussies will start to appreciate big scale quality artworks. Every Aussie should be sleeved up!!
Q: What advice would you give to someone wanting to become a tattoo artist?
Be prepared to give your heart and soul for it. There is also a high level of artistic ability required, without which; you are very likely to fall on your face..So be honest with yourself, can you really draw??
Q: Do you have a favourite artist?
